In 2022 we were finalists in Airbnb Host of the Year in New Zealand. Finalists are chosen by Airbnb based on their home, hosting and reviews. We believe this achievment reflects on our aproach to provide a great experience for our guests, making their stay smooth, comfortable and enjoyable.

The detached front house features a bright, open-plan kitchen / living / dining area downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs (sleeps 7). There is good indoor/outdoor flow which is superb for escaping from the bustle of the city.

Parking is provided, with a garage and driveway parking.

The house features a bright, open-plan kitchen / living / dining area with good indoor/outdoor flow which is superb for escaping from the hubbub of the city.

The kitchen is very well equipped which is great if you want to cook at home or are staying for an extended period.

Granite benchtops and lots of cabinets make for a stylish and functional kitchen.

The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, rice cooker, electric kettle and toaster.

Everything you should need is provided: tableware, kitchenware and utensils, cutlery, baking equipment, tea towels

Basics are supplied (tea, coffee etc.).

Check with us if there is anything in particular you would like provided and we will do our best to have what you need.

The dining area has an 8 seater table and comfortable seating.

The 3 sliding doors to the deck provide great indoor outdoor flow.

High chair can be provided if you have a little one.

There are two comfortable sofas in the lounge area.

Television has basic sky package. You can use your own device to cast to the television.

There is a heat pump/ Air con unit so you can control the temperature of the open plan area.

The house has 3 bedrooms all of which are upstairs. Slanted ceilings add character to the shaped of the rooms.

Using both sofa beds, the house sleeps 7 people.

The main bedroom has a queen size bed, walk through wardrobe and ensuite bathroom.

All bed linen is provided.

The bedrooms all have window blinds.

The main bedroom has a heatpump/aircon unit so you can control the temperature. Fans and heaters are provided for the other bedrooms and electric blankets on the queen beds to keep you toasty in winter.

A portacot can be provided on request.

Sofa beds and travel cot will usually be set up in advance but if you have a last minute booking we can provide instructions for set-up.

The second bedroom has a queen sized bed with an additional single sofa bed.

The sofa bed is full single size with a foam mattress on top for extra comfort.

The third bedroom is a single room. A single sofa bed can be added to the room

If you plan to work from home we have a dedicated workspace on the landing.

Our broadband is ultrafast and is suitable for video calls and multiple devices streaming. Speed may vary at times and throughout the house.

Monitor with HDMI cable can be provided if requested in advance.

The main bathrooom is upstairs and has a bath with shower over, a washhand basin and toilet.

The main bedroom (also upstairs) has an ensuite bathroom with shower, washhand basin and toilet.

Downstairs, there is a WC with toilet and washhand basin for your convenience.

Towels, hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel are all provided.

The outdoor space is a little oasis from the bustle of sightseeing and shopping.

There are two egg chairs and in the garage you will find a hammock you can hang so you can curl up and escape the city.

Barbecue is provided.

Three bikes are provided for your use (along with helmets which are compulsory by law in New Zealand).

You can have endless hours of fun with foosball table and a ping pong table in the garage.

Laundry facilities are in the garage: washing machine, dryer, iron and board.

Bathroom and kitchen essentials are provided as well as a hairdryer.

There is a ring camera outside for security of guests and owner.

Guests often comment on how well equipped the house is, in particular, the kitchen. If you have specific requests for equipment please ask in advance and we will try to provide what you need.
